This role is critical to maintaining the precision tools, fixtures, jigs, and gauges that support our shop manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance, accuracy, and longevity of production tooling through preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration activities. /ph3bJob Description /b /h3pAvenza Aero Alliance maintenance specialist, reporting to the Facility and Maintenance Leader, will support within the following Maintenance and Repair activities: /pulliPerform scheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing fixtures, jigs, templates, and specialized tooling used in turbine, generator, and energy equipment production /liliDiagnose and troubleshoot tooling failures and implement corrective repairs to maintain/improve safety and minimize production downtime /liliSupport shop tool engineers to rebuild, refurbish, and restore worn or damaged fixtures to original specifications /liliSupport in troubleshooting, corrective maintenance and repair activities on CNC machinery /liliMaintain detailed maintenance records and documentation in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) in use E-maint /liliCoordinate the calibration of measuring instruments according to quality standards /liliConduct regular calibration of precision measuring instruments and gauges per established schedules /liliVerify dimensional accuracy of fixtures and tooling against engineering specifications and tolerances /liliCoordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure tooling meets ISO and industry standards /liliMaintain calibration certificates and traceability documentation /liliTechnical Support /liliCollaborate with manufacturing engineers to identify tooling improvement opportunities /liliSupport new product introductions by preparing and validating fixtures for production readiness /liliProvide technical expertise to production teams on proper fixture usage and handling /liliAssist in root cause analysis investigations related to tooling-induced quality issues /liliInventory and Organization /liliManage tooling inventory, including storage, organization, and tracking systems /liliIdentify obsolete or redundant tooling and recommend disposition /liliCoordinate with procurement and manufactoring tooling engineers for replacement parts and tooling components /liliMaintain clean and organized maintenance work areas /li /ulh3bKey Requirements /b /h3ulliBachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience in mechanical technology, aerospace, industrial engineering, or related field preferred /liliMinimum 3-5 years of experience in fixture and tooling maintenance in a manufacturing environment /liliStrong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in precision fitting /liliProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and GDT specifications /liliExperience with precision measuring instruments /liliWorking knowledge of CMMS software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, etc.) /liliExcellent attention to detail and quality focus /liliAbility to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks /liliAdaptability to changing production needs and schedules /liliIntermediate level knowledge of English – b1 /liliCommitment to safety protocols and continuous improvement /liliEffective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration /liliExcellent interpersonal and relational skills, curiosity and precision complete the profile /li /ulh3bPreferred Qualifications /b /h3ulliExperience in aeroderivative turbine, power generation, aerospace, or heavy equipment manufacturing /liliFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodologies /liliKnowledge of welding and fabrication techniques /liliSix Sigma or quality certification /liliStrong problem-solving and analytical skills /liliKnowledge of E-maint CMMS and Oracle ERP will be a plus. /li /ulh3bAdditional Information /b /h3pbRelocation Assistance Provided: /bNo /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
