IBM Consulting - Client Innovation Center is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team supporting a major insurance client. You will operate within a complex multi‐vendor environment, working closely with client stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of hybrid cloud initiatives. This is a strategic role within the governance team, with the opportunity to grow responsibility and influence within the program.Your Role And ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for leading and coordinating projects in a hybrid cloud application environment. You will manage project scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, budgets and resources across IBM, client teams and external partners.A solid understanding of technical and functional aspects is essential, as you will need to interpret requirements, discuss solution approaches and ensure alignment between delivery teams and business goals.Weekly on‐site presence at the client in Milan is required.Key Responsibilities
Managing complex projects within the insurance domainLeading planning, execution, monitoring and reporting activitiesOwning project plans, financials and staffing coordinationManaging risks, issues and cross‐team dependenciesSupporting governance processes and ensuring contractual complianceInteracting with technical teams and discussing topics related to cloud, applications and integration (AWS, Kubernetes, Java ecosystem)Collaborating with client stakeholders and third‐party vendors in a distributed environment

Proven experience in project management of complex initiativesMandatory: experience within the insurance industryAbility to understand functional and technical requirements and interact with engineering teamsStrong communication, leadership and stakeholder‐management skillsFluency in ItalianGood command of English (B1 / B2)
