Applies understanding of the industry to improve effectiveness, provide guidance and influence processes and policies.brEssential Qualifications and Education:br* Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Engineeringbr* 10+ yrs in oil and gas with major contractor or consultantbr* Preferably possess a degree or diploma or equivalent in engineeringbr* Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in LNG projectsbr* Have pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up experience on at least 2 major EPC projects in the LNG industrybr* Able to effectively communicate technical solutions and concepts to other engineers and non-engineersbr* Must have good computer software skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visiobr* Must have good organizational skills and be adaptable to the needs of various discipline groupsbr* Must have the ability to assess and communicate project requirements and expectations in a clear defined, positive and productive mannerbr* Willing and able to travel to Project JV location on assignments and to Project Site location on rotational basisbr* Proficiency in English, Multi-Language skills a plusbr#LI-JA1brKey Tasks and Responsibilities:br* Reports to the Commissioning Manager and provides support to the Commissioning Lead in the preparation of home office deliverablesbr* At site the Commissioning Engineer works closely with the Construction group for mechanical completion inspections and accepting the completed systems as deemed ready for pre-commissioningbr* Work collaboratively within the Project team and with Client to maintain positive relationshipsbr* Participates in the development of systemization and system boundary mark-upsbr* Participates in engineering design reviews as assigned by the Commissioning Manager including HAZOP, PID's, SIL and Model reviewsbr* Participates in the development of commissioning activity schedules for pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-upbr* The position is initially office based for around 12 months in Milan before transferring to Site until handover of a two train LNG facility at RFSUbr* LNG commissioning start-up experience essentialbr* Required to support the commissioning team with performing any of the following activities as a minimumbro Operating Maintenance Manuals development.bro Commissioning and Start-up Spares development.bro First Fills and Consumables development.bro Commissioning and Start-Up Procedures.bro Discipline Equipment system checks and tests.bro Function testing of mechanical, electrical and instrument systems.bro Participate in Commissioning, Start-Up and Performance Testing.bro Resolve operational and maintenance issues during Commissioning, Start-Up and Performance Tests.br* Interfaces heavily with the completions team, construction and Client personnel regarding all aspects of site inspections and testing for pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities.br* Supervises the assigned commissioning team personnel, subcontractors and Client personnel in the execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities in a safe, efficient and successful mannerbr* Liaise With: Project Commissioning Manager, Discipline Lead Engineers, Project Engineers, Construction/Fabrication team, Quality, HSSE and Client designated representatives as required /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
