SMS group is looking for a Technical System Manager - Combustion and Reheating Furnaces.Main ResponsibilitiesThe development of automation solutions focuses primarily on the development of software for controlling plant regarding Combustion process and Reheating Furnaces;Takeover of the programming Lev1 software and the associated tests including the functional commissioning at our customer’s premises;Coordination and controlling of the automation engineering activities to ensure in-cost, in-time and in-quality execution.Participation and leading of meetings with SMS internal team, Customers, Sub-Suppliers.RequirementsGraduate or Bachelor/Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science;Expertise in steel plants, particularly reheating and combustion furnacesProof of programming competence in the PLC Automation-Systems (S7-TIA, S7-400); Rockwell, ControlLogix, Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT;Project management and project team coordination;Knowledge of platforms for HMI system development; Siemens SIMATIC WinCC;Analytical competence and ability to work in a team;Very good English language skills;Knowledge of MS Office;Willingness to travel worldwideCandidates of all genders may apply to the job posting or send their CV to margherita.drescig@sms-group.comPersonal data will be processed in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679.
