Adecco Credit & Banking is hiring for the Italian Branch of a prestigious investment bank, anIT Desktop Support Specialist - Banking SectorThis role provides Level 2 technical support and ensures a reliable, secure, and high performing workplace environment for Milan office. The role acts as the local technical reference point, handling complex issues, supporting key IT initiatives, and working closely with regional teams and senior business users.The key responsibilities of the role: Leading technical escalations and resolving complex issues across OS, applications, networks, hardware, and collaboration platforms. Acting as the local technology point of authority, ensuring compliance with global standards and technology governance expectations. Driving operational excellence, proactive incident reduction, and service improvements aligned with global ETS strategy. Coordinating with regional technology leads, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure exceptional user experience. Supporting organisational programs such as M365, Windows evergreening, VDI expansion, and device lifecycle management. Communicating clearly, empathetically, and professionally with senior users, including front office stakeholders.The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:-Fluent English, both written and oral form -Strong expertise in Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and enterprise applications-Good knowledge of AD/Azure AD, Group Policy, Conditional Access, and identity processes-Solid understanding of networking basics (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi)-Troubleshooting skills across laptops, desktops, peripherals, and meeting-room AV-Experience with iOS/Android, mobile security, and Intune/MDM-Customer-focused approach and ability to handle urgent or sensitive issues-Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident/problem/change)-Strong communication and multitasking skillsDesired Skills: Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM tools. Background in Financial Services or regulated environments. Knowledge of Zoom/Webex, virtualization (VMware/Citrix), and cybersecurity basics. Experience working with vendors and managing device lifecycle.We offer a fixed term contract of 12 months, with the possibility of subsequent direct employment.CCNL Credito, RAL 40KBased in Milan Disponibilita oraria: Full Time CCNL: Credito
