For an emerging project in the aviation sector TXT Group is looking for a Hardware and Software System Engineer for an aerial surveillance system.Main responsibilitiesDefinition of Hardware and Software architecture;Configuration of the operating systems;Design and development of the surveillance system network;Drafting of documentation.Technical skills requiredKnowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems;Ability to use bash scripting;Ability to configure a TCP/IP network.Optional technical skills
PC and Hardware assembly skills;Knowledge of avionics interfaces MIL STD 1553B, ARINC429, serial, ethernet etc;Familiarity with standard laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, etc).Sensor physics (Radar, ESM – Electronic Support Measures, IFF- identification friend or foe).
