Senior Frontend Developer (On-site)
We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join our team in Lancaster, PA. In this role, you will serve as both a hands-on developer and the technical lead for our frontend projects. Your focus will be on developing and enhancing our Angular-based ERP system, working directly with end-users and leadership to understand business needs and translate them into effective frontend solutions. You will report to the VP of Sales & Marketing and collaborate closely with them to set project priorities and direction.
Responsibilities :
* Lead Frontend Development: Architect, design, and implement high-quality, scalable frontend solutions for our ERP system, transitioning to Angular.
* Hands-On Coding: Develop complex components, optimize performance, and implement UI/UX improvements.
* User Interaction: Engage with end-users to understand their needs, constraints, and workflows, ensuring a user-friendly and efficient frontend experience.
* Collaborate with Leadership: Work directly with the VP of Sales & Marketing to align frontend development with strategic business objectives.
* Set Standards and Best Practices: Establish and enforce frontend standards, code quality guidelines, and design consistency; mentor junior and mid-level developers.
* Continuous Improvement: Suggest architectural and UX enhancements, stay updated with Angular and frontend trends to maintain a modern, robust system.
Required Skills and Experience :
* 5+ years of frontend development experience, with proven leadership responsibilities, including mentoring.
* Strong proficiency in Angular (v10+), with experience in performance optimization techniques.
* Ability to design and implement modular architectures.
* UI/UX expertise: Creating intuitive, user-centered interfaces; implementing custom themes and responsive layouts.
* Experience with projects that have minimal dependencies.
* Effective collaboration with backend and database teams, especially with SQL Server.
* Self-management: Ability to independently manage tasks, set priorities, and deliver high-quality results with minimal oversight.
Preferred Skills :
* Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC or similar backend frameworks.
* Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
* Proficiency with Git, including code review and repository management.
