This Opportunity As a Design and Process Engineer, you will oversee the design and implementation of our company processes. You will be responsible for optimizing current designs and processes, and for developing and implementing design and process strategies. You will work with the Production Manager and Manufacturing Engineering to assess existing processes. Responsibilities Support the engineering design of new and existing Aerospace Transparencies products; Support product testing and performance evaluations to ensure products and transparency programs meet standard expectations; Ensure new product development complies with EHS and environmental requirements; Manage technical communications with customers and government regulatory agencies, providing documentation and presentation of test reports; Develop technical proposals, design outputs like Qualification Test Plans, Acceptance Test Procedures, and Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis; Provide information on processes, methods of manufacture and assembly, and engineering drawings; Establish relationships with customer counterparts during product development, analysis, and redesign for problem resolution, service life improvements, or cost reduction; Participate actively in the New Product Introduction process, Technical Reviews, Management Gate Reviews, and serve as a key contributor in the engineering review board (ERB) and material review board (MRB) processes; Design and test process upgrades and new process systems; Develop routines and best practices to ensure product quality; Provide manufacturing engineering with process documents and standard operating procedures. Qualifications Experience as a Process Design Engineer or similar role; Background in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Automotive Design; Experience with process simulations and standard operating procedures; Understanding of structural mechanics, analysis of aircraft flight loads (or automotive or mechanical loads, and the Finite Element Method); Degree in Aerospace, Aviation, Mechanical Engineering, or similar; Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, CAD, and CATIA; Good command of English (B2 level).
