As Civil & Structural Lead, you will respond to the Head of Building Department and be part of the ENCAR. You will work in our Structural/Architectural/HVAC team to design process and non-process buildings within the upstream, downstream, FPSO project as well as green technology plant.
How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:
* provide technical support during feasibility and bidding phase/Commercial proposal development
* provide technical support during the execution in all phases of the project
* perform technical tasks related to civil & structural engineering about reinforced concrete, structural concrete/steel/pre-cast buildings and relevant foundations; technical/design specification preparation; design, verification and checking activities, in order to ensure compliance with project requirements in terms of budget, time schedule and quality standards:
* monitor and control manhour consumption
* timely management of change orders and variances from the scope of work
* knowledge of 3D model environments
* interface with the other discipline Specialists to gather information and coordinate activities performed inside or outside the company
* gather and provide record of experiences to improve and harmonize work methodologies
What are we looking for?
Education: Master’s Degree/bachelor’s degree in Civil & structural Engineering or similar qualification
Experience: Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in the Civil & Structural Design field of an engineering design preferably applied to the Oil & Gas plant sector and/or FPSO carried out within structured engineering companies.
Languages: Italian (minimum C1), English (minimum B2)
Technical Skills
* Knowledge of the main international standards, codes and regulations and ability to analyse project requirements in terms of local regulations and identify appropriate actions to be implemented
* Knowledge of calculation methods for the design of foundations, concrete works, concrete and steel structures
* Knowledge of construction materials and tests aimed at the knowledge of their characteristic
