The Security Program Manager (SPM) is responsible for the design, installation and integration of security systems equipment including, but not limited to, Access Control / Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will work across related disciplines—from technology research to system design and layout, oversight of construction and implementation, to maintenance and upgrades over the life of the system. Candidates should have in‑depth knowledge of security technology, be innovative, highly organized, and able to deliver results on time and within budget. The SPM is a key member of the EMEA Security team and reports to the Multi‑Cluster Security Program Manager. The SPM supervises compliance with physical security standards, manages Physical Security Projects, serves on cross‑functional teams, and is considered a subject matter expert in all facets of Physical Security. The SPM's ultimate success will be measured by development, implementation and commissioning of standardized security infrastructure systems for the AWS region, using objectives and metrics related to customer service, access control effectiveness, and the protection of our customers' data, employees and visitors. The role observes Physical Security Standards and Programs that support the goals of the Global Physical Security Team while enabling local site managers to access related services in a self‑service manner. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, including data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure continual access to services. You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with teams across AWS to uphold high safety and security standards while providing scalable capacity at a prudent cost, and you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion. /ph3Key job responsibilities /h3ulliDesigning, developing, and implementing solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs and change outs. /liliEnsuring compliance with physical security project standards, project Scopes of Work, budgets and timelines. /liliManaging the installation, operation and maintenance of regional and / or global physical security systems, with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. /liliEffective prioritization of tasks and seamless operation across organizational boundaries. /liliSupporting security system equipment commissioning. /liliCompleting final Test and Acceptance of security systems. /liliExecution and coordination of preventative maintenance and repairs to security system equipment. /liliBuilding and deploying training programs for all users of physical security systems. /li /ulh3Basic Qualifications /h3ulli5-7 years of experience in technology sectors. /liliKnowledge and experience with the Security Integrator Industry. /liliHigh ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information; excellent judgment, discretion and diplomacy. /liliEnglish language required, Italian or other European languages a plus. /liliAbility to travel 20% of the time. /liliAbility to work at times in an industrial environment. /liliExcellent teamwork skills, results oriented, high energy and self‑motivated. /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliIndustry experience in security system installation and commissioning and project management. /liliCertification in either S2 or Lenel Access Control Systems. /liliCPP, PSP or CISSP Certification. /lili3 to 5 years of experience in managing security projects. /li /ulh3Equal Opportunity Statement /h3pAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
