Position Overview VARIATION ORDER MANAGER The Variation Order Manager manages all aspects of economic quotation during the execution of the project and works closely with the Core Team. Responsibilities Management of Billing and SAL process (including Partners in case of RTI/ATI) Management and control of Field Subcontractor activities and related financials (SAL) Support PMs for Domestic Contract on "Executive Project" phase (quantity calculation and pricing) Possible verification of accounting during the bid phase Management of the project economics documents such as: Bill of quantities of all technologies involved Work breakdown structure New prices Payment terms Subdivision of amounts within ATI/RTI Calculation of executive planning costs Educational Requirements Technical diploma or equivalent working experience in an equivalent role. Essential Knowledge / Experience Project Management Proficient user of Word, Excel & STR Program Working knowledge & understanding of RFI contracts used in signaling, systems & infrastructure projects RFI price list regarding Signalling, TLC, Mechanical Plants and LFM. Manage with the bill of quantities (Computi metrici estimativi) Excellent knowledge of wayside technical drawings Desired Knowledge / Experience Alstom product knowledge across Signalling, Systems and Infrastructure Leading and managing a team in a matrix structure Negotiation skills Behavioural Skills / Competencies Organised Action oriented Delivery and results focused Commercial awareness High levels of integrity Good negotiation skills Self-motivated Collaborative Ability to work in a multi-disciplined environment The position is located at our Italian offices (Bologna, Florence, Rome or Bari).
