VACANCY: Sales and Marketing Specialist

Who we are
At Teachersrise, we organise Erasmus+ teacher training courses and international education projects for schools across Europe. We are entering a scaling phase, with ambitious goals for both commercial growth and operational capacity. To make this happen, we are separating Sales and Operations functions and seeking a results-driven professional who can lead our sales development and, over time, take full ownership of our marketing strategy.
Why this role matters
In a small business, every sale counts, and every marketing decision must deliver measurable results. This role will have a direct impact on our margins and ability to scale, evolving from a hands-on Sales role into a Sales & Marketing Manager position within a few years.
Key Responsibilities – First Year
· Handle inbound leads from calls, web forms, and the info@ email, qualifying and following up promptly.
· Make phone calls to confirm Erasmus+ funding and course preferences.
· Sell course packages and additional services, upselling tailored solutions.
· Manage contracts and sales administration.
· Ensure alignment with available resources with the Operations team via the internal ticketing process.
· Design actionable quarterly sales plans aligned with company OKRs.
· Present plans clearly to management for alignment and approval.
· Contribute ideas for targeted campaigns (email marketing, social media, webinars).
· Provide feedback on messaging and targeting based on sales insights.
· Build strong relationships with schools, teachers, and partners.
· Maintain regular contact to encourage repeat participation.
· Track opportunities, activities, and performance data in the CRM.
· Maintain accuracy and timeliness in data entry for reporting.
Role Development – Within 12–24 Months
· (Accountable): Take full responsibility for quarterly and annual marketing plans, including channel strategy and budget allocation.
· : Oversee external marketing providers and freelancers for content, design, and advertising.
· : Monitor and improve key marketing KPIs (conversion rates, cost per lead, ROI).
· : Integrate sales planning with operational capacity for sustainable growth.
Requirements
· Fluent in English and Italian (C1 or above).
· Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in education, events, or educational tourism.
· Genuine enthusiasm for sales conversations, the use of custom digital tools, accurate sales administration, and modern, transparent ways of managing growth.
· Working knowledge of digital marketing tools (CRM, email marketing, social media advertising).
· Ability to work autonomously and turn plans into measurable actions.
· Skilled at selling solutions, not just predefined packages.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills.
