Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical check out and commissioning for converting roll machines
Maintain and service customer production equipment according to Valmet service procedures and safety processes
Provide prompt assistance to solve technical issues during testing phase and related to processes, machinery or tools at customer's site or remotely
Carry out processes checks and quality control to improve product quality and propose improvement solutions to the customer
Perform scheduled maintenance on customer installations to ensure and optimise equipment performance
Proactively evaluate and suggest spare parts or improvements to the customer for equipment update
Carry out training to the customer's site or in‐house
Collaborate with the technical department to solve or improve technical solutions
Ensure the achievement of predefined objectives guaranteeing customer satisfaction within the agreed timeline
To Succeed In This Role, You Should Have
Technical school diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar fields
2‐3 years of experience as Mechanical Technician in manufacturing industry; experience in converting industry is a plus
Proficiency with MS Office 365, SAP, and 2D‐3D CAD
Structured approach to complete tasks according to targets and schedule
Strong skills in complex troubleshooting
Service orientation
Good interpersonal and communication skills and proactive approach to work
Respect for quality standards and safety procedures
Strong work ethic
Availability and willingness to travel
Fluent in English and Italian
