Ph3Overview /h3pDescrizione dell’offerta di lavoro /ppbHead of Music, India, Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios /b /ppWe are seeking a Music Executive (Head of Music, IN) to join the dynamic global music team for Amazon MGM Studios. This role manages a team and oversees all music needs associated with the Studios’ Original Series (Scripted and Unscripted) and Amazon Original Movies (AOM) across multiple Indian languages. This role will be an integral part to the global music team and will be located in Mumbai, India. You\'ll have experience in Movie music production and supervision, you will use your robust knowledge of music and your network of relationships in the entertainment and music industry in India to drive successful projects. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliOversee music supervision / curation of designated productions across languages on behalf of studio. /liliRead Scripts and coordinate with various internal external stakeholders to assess scope of music (songs + score) in screenplays /liliRecommend key music hires (music composers, supervisors, singer‑songwriters etc) as per the script requirement. /liliWork closely with internal stakeholders for management and tracking of music budgets, talent deals, scoring process, music delivery, and music licensing for designated productions. /liliUtilize a deep understanding of music licensing for film and TV to ensure success of projects. /liliManage and track music delivery requirements of projects as per the various milestones. /liliPartner effectively across internal divisions (Content development, Business Affairs, Production, Legal, Marketing, social media, Monetisation team etc.) and with external partners using excellent communication skills. /liliWork with music label partners in the region to seek wide release for soundtracks. /liliCollaborate with marketing teams to identify and develop music marketing opportunities for title promotions. /liliAssist marketing team with licensing / curating music for various marketing campaigns. /li /ulh3Basic Qualifications /h3ulliExperience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time /liliExperience managing teams /liliExperience in movies TV distribution / licensing /lili5+ years of music programming, music supervision, editorial, or AR experience /liliExperience working at a record label, artist management company, artist talent agency, or similar field within the music industry /liliMaster\'s degree or above /lili12+ years full time experience of working as a music supervisor at a film studio / tv production house or with a music composer or as an AR at a record label. /liliShould have a thorough understanding of India music business and music rights management. /liliShould be an avid music listener with a deep understanding of main stream and new age music. /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliShould have a thorough understanding of India music business and music rights management. /li /ulh3EEO and Accommodations /h3pOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
