Job Overview
Johnson Controls–Hitachi Air Conditioning, established on October 1st, 2015, is a joint venture between Hitachi Appliances, Inc. (now Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc.) and Johnson Controls, Inc. This collaboration combines two rich, 100-year-old cultures to serve customers with a diverse product portfolio in the air conditioning industry.
Responsibilities
* Selling products and collaborating with Sales Agents to promote new product offerings and integrated sales strategies.
* Developing long-term relationships with customers such as contractors, consulting engineers, and owners.
* Maximizing account penetration by addressing the full spectrum of customer needs with our HVAC systems.
* Positioning Johnson Controls – Hitachi as the preferred HVAC supplier through strategic influence and relationship building.
* Ensuring customer retention within assigned accounts.
* Partnering with other Sales Managers to maximize profits through influence on specifications and market pricing.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree.
* At least 5 years of sales experience in the HVAC industry with proven results in a Sales Area Manager role.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
* Ability to open new sales channels.
* Experience working effectively within a sales business plan and go-to-market strategies.
