We are looking for a Skilled Satellite Config. Designer.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate all the Configuration Management activities within projects in collaboration with stakeholders, in particular the Hardware Manager (HW WPM) and the Solution CM.
* Establish and/or implement the Configuration Management Plan.
* Specify Configuration Management requirements to subcontractors and suppliers through statements of work and ensure that the requirements are properly implemented and respected.
* Participate in the selection of configuration items and in the establishment of the various breakdown structures.
* Ensure identification activities, piloting and implementation (CI selection, breakdown structures identification, baseline needs, etc.).
* Manage corrections and evolutions on projects; lead the commissions (TEB/CCB).
* Establish configuration baselines (FBL, ABL, PBL, and all baselines according to project needs).
* Ensure recording and restitution of the configuration status; perform configuration verifications.
* Participate in end-of-phase reviews (PDR, CDR, etc.).
* Raise awareness, advise and share best practices with contributors on the implementation of configuration management.
Qualifications
* You graduated with a Master of Engineering and have proven experience in the field of configuration management.
* You have worked in an integrated team within large scopes combining specific developments and off-the-shelf solutions; you value collaborative work and stimulating exchanges.
* You have outstanding problem-solving skills and a passion for solving difficult issues.
* You are seeking challenges through unforeseen events and business emergencies.
* You enjoy investing in the development of others and are recognized for pragmatism, commitment and rigor.
* You are able to apply configuration management in line with contractual requirements and with various stakeholders.
* You have strong knowledge of systems integration principles (system, hardware and software).
* You master tools related to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
* You can adapt to various development model practices and apply Agile principles and Lean Management.
* You can manage complexity and thrive in changing environments, promoting change.
* You can create buy-in by explaining and detailing needs and initiatives.
