The Role: The Europe-integrated region is a $1.5B segment of global Xylem. There are 10 manufacturing and distribution locations managed by 4 different business units. For our plant in Montecchio Maggiore with over 700 employees, we are looking for a Distribution Finance analyst who will be responsible for Controlling the Italian Distribution Center in order to achieve financial goals (i.e., revenue growth, operating margin expansion, working capital reduction, OCF attainment, etc.); responsible for Budgeting, forecasting & reporting processes; identify opportunities to simplify financial processes, improve forecast accuracy, and enhance controllership. Principal Responsibilities: - Provide analysis on the Consolidated margin for the assigned business. - Accountable for the P&L and Balance Sheet for Italy Distribution Center for budget/forecast, to be able to manage and improve accuracy. To monitor progress towards maximizing key performance indicators; highlighting and analyzing unexpected variances; proactively identifying and mitigating risks; and finding and executing opportunities to achieve or exceed business commitments - Provide support to Distribution/Ops Leaders, Distribution and Ops Finance Manager for ad hoc reporting tasks - Continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, and Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis in coordination with Ops finance teams and HQ finance teams. Prepare & submit budgets/ forecasts for Italy Distribution Center. - Warranty/Inboud and outbound freight for Budget/Actual/Fcst for AWS sites. - Collaborate with Ops Finance team managing adjustment entities for Fcst and Budget. - Managing transfer prices and the adjustments, in collaboration with the Xylem Transfer price Team. - Site reports for distribution - Managing the analysis report for variance vs budget, Prior Year, and Forecast and provide an outlook upon request - Provide analysis by intercompany and products for sales and cos within the month end closure activities. - Std cost calculation for the POC’s AWS Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in relevant field - 3 years of work experience in a similar role - Fluent in both Italian and English: - Advanced Knowledge in an ERP systems.
