Overview
We are looking for a Finance Controller to join a dynamic Commercial Finance team within a leading media and advertising environment.
Commercial Finance plays a key role in driving business performance through strong financial governance and impactful business partnering. The team supports senior stakeholders with fast, clear, and actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and sustainable financial results.

What you'll do
As part of the Advertising Finance team, you will:
- Manage Budget, Long Range Plan (LRP), and rolling reforecast processes across On Demand revenues (owned and third-party) and operating costs.
- Monitor Brand Solutions cost expenditure and associated revenue streams.
- Own Advertising Opex month-end activities, providing clear variance analysis and identifying risks and opportunities.
- Evaluate Opex and On Demand business cases.
- Deliver insightful ad-hoc financial analyses, translating data into clear recommendations for decision-making.
- Act as a Finance Business Partner to Advertising and Commercial stakeholders, supporting them with robust financial guidance.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in Commercial Finance, including business partnering and budgeting/planning activities.
- Strong analytical skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to present insights effectively using PowerPoint and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau).
- Experience with finance systems (SAP and Hyperion preferred).
- Fluency in both Italian and English.
- Ability to work at pace in a fast-moving, agile environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage both finance and non-finance teams.
- A proactive mindset, with ambition and a strong desire to grow professionally.
