Job Title: CI Specialist / Continuous Improvement Business Partner (m/f/d) We are seeking an experienced CI Specialist / Continuous Improvement Business Partner (m/f/d) responsible for managing the execution of strategies supporting Xylem’s Lean transformation, aimed at enhancing customer value and delivering financial results. You will support multiple international sites in fostering lean culture, supporting transformations, and eliminating waste organization-wide. Locations: Herford or Ludwigshafen (Germany), Sundbyberg (Sweden), Nanterre (France), Montecchio (Italy). Other European Xylem locations are optional. The role offers a hybrid contract with travel expected at 50% or more to cover assigned sites. Tasks Lead CI implementation, standardization, and consistency across sites, focusing on waste elimination and flow promotion. Deliver training and coaching to teams and colleagues. Work with site leaders to support priorities and align CI projects accordingly. Identify operational and strategic improvements; share best practices and lessons learned. Mentor and coach in process mapping, 5S, VSM, and similar events with cross-functional teams. Analyze KPI trends, identify causes of variance, and communicate findings. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business; Master’s preferred. Lean Certification or Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred). 5-10 years of industry experience in a lean/continuous improvement organization. Expertise in lean systems implementation and development; ability to work independently. Knowledge of Lean Management, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement Management. Experience applying Lean methodologies in non-manufacturing environments. Financial data management skills; ability to interpret financial reports and P&L statements. Strong presentation, project management, facilitation, and influencing skills. Leadership ability, initiative, and commitment. Capability to drive strategic and hands-on projects.
