Are you an experienced finance professional eager to apply your expertise in a new, impactful context? Do you have 8 to 20 hours per week available alongside your existing projects or consulting work? We are searching for freelance controllers based in the EU or UK to help improve advanced AI systems.
What You’ll Be Doing We are 10x.team, a platform for fractional and freelance professionals. We partner with leading AI labs to improve large AI systems.
In This Practical, High‑impact Role, You Will
Review and refine AI‑generated responses related to finance, accounting, and controlling
Evaluate outputs for financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices
Draft realistic financial scenarios—including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and compliance tasks
Assess AI reasoning in areas such as financial analysis, process optimisation, risk assessment, and decision support
Identify gaps, misinterpretations, or unrealistic assumptions in financial methodology or outputs
Create scenario variations from different stakeholder perspectives such as finance manager, executive team, or auditor
In Simple Terms You will assess and improve AI‑generated content to ensure it reflects real‑world finance and controlling standards, practices, and reasoning. Your work will help scale and advance the quality of AI systems in the finance domain.
Who this is for
A finance professional, controller, accounting specialist, or similar
Based in the EU or UK
With several years of experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis
Skilled with modern financial tools, IFRS/local GAAP, and best practices
Comfortable identifying methodological flaws and compliance concerns
Available 8 to 20 hours per week
