Responsibilities
Perform control engineering activities for one or several functions from architecture to detailed specification, interface and Functional Principle Schemes, in collaboration with the System Engineer.
Implement the development practices and rules as defined in the TrainControl support plans.
Formulate a low voltage and SW control design solution that fulfills the specified customer.
Deliver all Train Control Engineering outputs including Functional Specifications with man-machine interfaces, Electrical Functional Schemes and Software Specifications, in compliance with the Engineering Quality Cost Delay commitments.
Deliver Interface Control Document (ICD) for sub system participating in its function.
Treat Change Requests related to its function.
Ensure standardization and maximize carry-over or reference function with previous projects.
Provide support for Supplier interface test or Train Control verification tests on PC or TCMS Test Bench.
Provide support during train integration, upon request.
Provide support during train validation, upon request.
Contribute to the return of experiences on their domain/EDU (Software, Schematic, Apparatus).
Educational
Engineer degree or Master of engineering from University or Engineer school.
Experience
Rolling stock functional engineer experience on its functions.
Experience in electrical and schematic design activity.
Experience in electrical or electro-mechanical or automation (Programmable Logic Controller) engineering with minimum of 1-2 years' experience.
Validation and Verification Test Engineer experience.
Hands-on experience in design & development using IEC******* software or model-based development tools like Matlab / Simulink, Control Build etc.
