The company is a global player experiencing strong growth in API development and production, as well as advanced intermediates for custom manufacturing and generics. /p h3We are seeking an Experienced Process Modeling Engineer. /h3 h3Requirements: /h3 ol liA degree in chemical engineering is required, preferably with 3-5 years of experience in chemical process modeling; a PhD is preferred. /li liExperience in at least one of the following simulation areas: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Discrete Element Method (DEM), or Population Balance Modeling (PBM). /li liStrong programming skills (familiarity with VBA, Python is a plus). /li liExperience with modeling software such as Dynochem, gProms, Aspen+, Ansys Fluent, OpenFoam, MStar. /li liKnowledge of spray drying process modeling is an advantage. /li /ol h3Skills and Soft Skills: /h3 ol liAnalytical and problem-solving skills – able to troubleshoot critical issues and identify causes and solutions. /li liTeamwork and communication – ability to work well in project teams, communicate clearly, and adapt communication style; effective communication with management; technical writing skills. /li liOrganizational skills – good time management and prioritization abilities to handle multiple projects. /li /ol h3Responsibilities: /h3 pThe engineer will work within the Calorimetry and Process Engineering team in RD, collaborating with chemical engineers and chemists to assess process hazards and optimize processes.
