Within GOSP - Generali Operations Service Platform, we are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Digital Factory development team, with the following responsibilities:
Promoting and leading the creation of test cases & plans aimed at ensuring the quality of releases Collaborating with the development team to document and execute tests, by transferring skills when necessary to improve the team's ability to identify defects and assess their impact Preparing and executing non-regression testing, identifying opportunities for improvement to be included in subsequent developments Managing hands‑on test automation
Requirements Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
Degree in Information Technology, computer engineering or other preparatory diploma for software design and development At least 10 years of verifiable experience as manual Test Engineer / QA Engineer or other role in software quality control Knowledge of a broad spectrum of test methodologies (functional, accessibility, non‑regression, integration, test‑driven development) Experience with API testing using tools like Postman Experience in test automation In‑depth knowledge of software lifecycle management processes Excellent knowledge of the English language (CEFR B2 reference level) Basic knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, REST‑Assured, Cucumber, Allure) is a plus
Soft Skills
Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate issues clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Experience of working in SCRUM team members with various skills (Developers, Tech Leads, Product Owner, Scrum Master, Business Analysts)
