Position : Technical Asset Manager ( Wind )
Who are we recruiting for?
Our client is a globally renowned organization specializing in solar projects, with a proven track record in developing, engineering, constructing, and maintaining projects across several countries.
What will you be doing?
* Act as hub leader for a portfolio of wind, PV, and biogas plants, managing technical contracts, scheduling maintenance, and tracking performance.
* Conduct performance analysis and reporting to explain deviations from production budgets and identify improvement opportunities (e.g., maintenance regime adjustments or strategic spare parts planning).
* Support asset onboarding, ensuring SCADA connectivity (Levels I and II), uploading test data, and applying key technical and contractual KPIs.
* Participate in data analytics and scenario analysis to enhance the operational performance and financial value of the renewable energy portfolio.
* Engage in contract management, applying O&M, PPA, insurance, and lender facility terms effectively across the portfolio.
* Carry out on-site asset inspections, ensuring adherence to QHSE standards and industry best practices in collaboration with local operators.
* Lead or contribute to the preparation of technical and economic reports, ensuring consistency with company standards in both format and timelines.
* Support ongoing strategic and financial planning processes, including long-term forecasting and NAV impact evaluations.
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders and external partners, contributing to transformation initiatives and continuous improvement.
* Assist the Head of Strategic Finance and Financial Analysis Manager in the preparation of board papers and investor reporting.
* Contribute to Investor Relations through quarterly and ad-hoc reporting, offering insights backed by robust data.
Are you the ideal candidate?
* Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar asset management or analytical role.
* Strong skills in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Python, SQL, or Power BI is a plus.
* Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively across seniority levels.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a structured and proactive approach.
* Willingness to travel to on-site locations as needed.
* Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
* Professional fluency in Italian and English.
* CFA certification is a plus.
