Profile
Graduated with a Master of Engineering, Computer Science, or University degree, with significant experience in your field of expertise.
Previous experience in project and/or product management, ideally as a Product Owner.
Experience working within an Agile team.
Strong business acumen and desire to stay abreast of the latest innovations.
Great understanding of customer needs.
Recognised as a team-player who enjoys collaborative work.
Good listener and effective communicator.
Storyteller.
Autonomous and able to get ideas adopted to improve team practices.
Open-minded and welcomes feedback from all stakeholders.
Competencies
Agile culture with knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and mastery of tools such as Jira, Rally, or Redmine.
Ability to develop a product vision based on domain knowledge and customer needs.
Knowledge of software development.
Prioritisation of backlog items according to value.
Capability to simplify and break down problems in complex functional areas.
Focus on customers and delivering quick results.
Regularly sharing Product Owner practices and learnings within communities.Excellent oral and written communication skills that adapt to various interlocutors.
Role Responsibilities
Define and own the product vision.
Engage customers/end-users and understand their needs.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the field and stay close to customer needs.
Communicate the product vision and define squad goals.
Facilitate internal and external customer demos for direct feedback.
Write and review user stories, including acceptance criteria.
Accept or reject user stories using Definition of Done and acceptance criteria.
Prioritise product backlog items and maintain an updated backlog for the squad.
Co-carry out market research and collect necessary data via studies, surveys, alpha/beta programs and onboard metrics.
Remain available for the squad throughout the sprint.
Interface with group functions and key stakeholders.
