Salary: €28,000 – €34,000 per year
Responsibilities
* Support assessment of GMO applications and generic mandates.
* Draft, edit and publish scientific outputs.
* Run queries and perform searches in databases.
* Prepare summary data tables.
* Provide support to the Food and Feed Working Group and Panel, including document management and drafting/publishing minutes, according to relevant procedures.
* Process dossier data and report scientific compliance in accordance with EFSA Guidance provisions.
* Apply specific knowledge in toxicology risk assessment (GMOs) and protein safety to technical tasks.
Qualifications
* Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level).
* Previous experience in toxicology risk assessment and protein safety assessment.
* Experience in collecting, collating evidence, analyzing and interpreting data using statistics.
* Experience in laboratory safety testing or investigations of proteins (asset).
* Experience in GM plants field (asset).
