Milan World School is seeking a Primary School Teacher to join our international teaching team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, student-centred learning experiences within a collaborative and inquiry-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Curriculum Development & Delivery
* Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with the UK, Ontario, and Italian curricula
* Apply an inquiry-based and experiential approach that supports independent thinking and problem-solving
* Promote interdisciplinary learning that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and conceptual understanding
Classroom Management & Learning Environment
* Create and maintain a well-organised, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
* Establish routines and expectations that promote responsibility, respect, and student agency
* Use classroom displays and learning materials to reinforce key concepts and celebrate student work
Student Assessment & Progress Monitoring
* Observe, document, and assess student progress to inform instruction and support differentiated learning
* Provide clear, constructive feedback to students
* Communicate progress to families through reports and conferences in line with school practices
* Support the academic and emotional development of learners through inclusive teaching strategies
Professional Conduct & Collaboration
* Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and accountability in all aspects of the role
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan, reflect, and continuously improve teaching and learning
* Participate actively in staff meetings, school events, professional development, and reflective practice
Learning Design & Student Engagement
* Design meaningful projects that integrate inquiry, real-world connections, and multiple intelligences
* Encourage student voice, ownership, and collaboration with peers and the wider community
* Incorporate literature, technology, nature, and the arts to enrich the curriculum
Requirements
* Recognised qualification in Primary Education
* Experience teaching in a primary school setting
* Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
* Fluency in English
* Eligibility to work in Italy
