Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Shutdown Coordinator to support a major client in the Oil & Gas sector.
In this role, you will be instrumental in the preparation, coordination, and execution of major site shutdowns lasting longer than one week. You will work closely with the Head of Maintenance and various departments to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations throughout all shutdown phases.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with Contracts & Procurement to manage pre-selection, tendering, and final contractor selection.
* Support the FFSD Manager in spare parts forecasting and ordering, ensuring timely availability of materials.
* Align shutdown activities with HSE objectives, ensuring all contractors adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
* Draft or update shutdown-related site procedures and ensure comprehensive documentation.
* Compile and maintain shutdown-specific HSE documentation, including JRAs and Method of Statements (MoS).
* Participate in safety audits during shutdown periods and oversee the implementation of corrective actions.
* Assist in defining the scope of work and develop detailed planning with optimized resource allocation.
* Prepare co-activity matrices and manage shutdown execution in alignment with the master schedule.
* Organize coordination meetings, issue minutes, and follow up on action points.
* Facilitate preparation and execution of all shutdown activities, including maintenance, construction, and project works.
* Propose and manage shutdown budgets, reporting to the Steering Committee and senior stakeholders.
* Maintain all shutdown documentation for audit and post-event review.
* Contribute to the drafting of Return of Experience (REX) reports alongside the FFSD Manager.
Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering or equivalent; extensive experience in Maintenance, Field Operations, or Project Management within the Oil & Gas industry.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; capable of working autonomously and collaboratively.
* Knowledge of technical discipline rules and international standards.
* Experience in contracts and budget management.
* Proficient in shutdown planning methodologies and software (e.g., Primavera).
* High attention to detail and strong reporting capabilities.
* Fluency in English and Italian is required.
