Role Description
As an experienced Business Manager for our Milan agency, you will act as a true intrapreneur responsible for developing and managing your business unit within the engineering consulting environment, ideally in IT.
Business DevelopmentBuild and develop your own client portfolio in the Industry and/or IT sectorConduct phone prospecting and in-person client meetingsUnderstand client challenges and propose tailored consulting solutionsEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction and retentionPromote Abylsen's three engagement models (technical assistance, service center, work package)
Recruitment & Team ManagementWork closely with the Talent Acquisition team to recruit top consulting engineersConduct interviews and select high-potential consultantsManage, support, and retain your team through active career follow-upContribute to team engagement and performance
Profit Center Management & CoachingManage and optimize the profitability of your business unitMonitor performance indicators and drive sustainable growthSupport the future growth of the Milan team
You will join the Italian subsidiary (created in 2021) and report directly to the Country Director.

Required QualificationsMaster's degree (Engineering or Business School)Fluent Italian and English (mandatory)Proven experience as a Business Manager in engineering consulting, ideally in ITStrong track record in business development and client acquisitionExperience managing consultants
