Role Description
We are currently seeking a qualified French teacher to deliver online courses for adult professionals.
This is a freelance, part-time position involving:
* Delivering live online lessons (primarily one-to-one or small groups)
* Adapting lessons to professional and business contexts
* Creating or adapting materials based on student needs
* Monitoring progress and providing clear, structured feedback
Courses are typically short-term (e.g. 10–20 hours) and scheduled based on client availability.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, structured, and communicative French lessons
* Adapt content to meet real-world communication needs (e.g. meetings, emails, presentations)
* Build strong rapport with learners and maintain a professional learning environment
* Provide ongoing feedback and support student development
* Collaborate when needed on course structure and objectives
Requirements
* Native or near-native proficiency in French
* Proven experience teaching adult learners (ideally in a business or professional context)
* Strong understanding of communicative and student-centred teaching approaches
* Ability to adapt lessons dynamically based on learner needs
* Professional, reliable, and comfortable working independently
* Experience teaching online (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
* Degree in Languages, Education, Linguistics, or related field
* Teaching qualification (e.g. FLE certification or equivalent)
* Experience teaching corporate clients or business French
