Ascend Performance Materials, the premium provider of high-quality chemicals, fibers, and plastics, is searching for a Production Supervisor for our Mozzate plant.Under the responsibility of the Sr. Production Manager, the Production Supervisor is accountable for driving the performance of one unit, ensuring safety, yields, usages, reliability, and quality.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for the production plan and its implementation, analyzing deviations, managing production parameters in SAP (nomenclatures, ranges, and settings sheets), and proposing adjustments when needed.Provide guidance to the production team and site leadership in executing scheduled production.Participate in and drive continuous improvement of operations, proposing changes in equipment, operational practices, and production processes.Facilitate, organize, and execute shift changes and extrusion training programs for operators.Master troubleshooting, investigation, and resolution of process and product deviations; propose lean manufacturing solutions as needed.Monitor and analyze KPIs related to manufacturing processes, especially overall equipment efficiency (OEE), and implement improvement plans.Commit to achieving higher safety performance and adhere to safety rules.Create a culture of employee engagement, teamwork, ownership, trust, creativity, innovation, and growth by supporting operators in achieving their objectives and developing their skills.REQUIRED EXPERIENCEKnowledge of extrusion processes and polymers (structure, tests, additives, etc.).Degree in Plastics, Chemicals, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.Good English skills (written and spoken).At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in chemicals.Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing is a strong plus.Excellent organizational and prioritization skills for a fast-paced environment.Leadership skills to motivate production operators towards shared goals.Flexible, reliable, and open-minded attitude.At Ascend Performance Materials, we value transparency and fairness.
