Project Engineer – Emerson

We are looking for a Project Engineer to act as a technical reference point throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, serving as the primary interface for clients, suppliers, and factories, and managing assigned projects with professionalism and efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Focus on projects and high-complexity MRO business.
* Participate in Kick-Off meetings with customers at the start of the project.
* Assist customers and document controllers in interpreting project-related certificates, specifications, technical drawings, and datasheets, ensuring proper revisions and required modifications.
* Manage technical relationships with sub-suppliers, both local and centralized, to ensure alignment.
* Collaborate with detailers during the write-up phase to clarify any technical doubts.
* Handle Change Requests (CRs) independently, coordinating with Customer Administrator/Project Manager and Inside Sales Engineer.
* Address technical non-conformities, answer customer questions, provide advice on technical solutions and benefits, and attend customer meetings as required.
* Communicate with manufacturing locations for queries regarding lead-time, specials, etc.
* Ensure activities are carried out in line with agreed departmental KPIs.
* Attend relevant technical and commercial trainings as required to maintain a high level of product and process knowledge, including new products as and when released.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or similar).
* Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for providing high-quality service.
* Fluency in Italian.
* Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
Preferred Qualifications
* Background or experience in industrial automation, valves/instrumentation, or process control systems.
* Proactive, results-driven, and detail-oriented.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
