Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This is a position with grade13This position reports toDigital Product ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesYou will join our Digital Offering Team and be part of the Process Automation business area for Energy Industries - Digital Division. The division integrates automation, electrification, instrumentation, and telecom to enable customers’ business transformation in a converging IT/OT environment. The priority is to help customers embrace digitalization securely with solutions that facilitate data access, visualization, and understanding. The candidate will be part of the Digital Offering Team of the Local Division, interfacing mainly with ABB Sales, SCM Purchase, Engineering departments, and our Customers. ABB digital solutions cover pillars such as Sustainability (with Advanced Process Control process optimization), Cyber Security solutions and services designed for OT systems, Performance monitoring, Predictive diagnostics, and Digital Twin. These solutions are usually proposed as extensions or complements to ABB Control systems. The role operates in a #LI-Hybrid work model.Main responsibilities include:Preparing technical proposals and cost estimates for digital solutions based on customer needs, with support from Subject Matter Experts.Supporting SCM in analyzing supplier proposals.Gathering information from Sales regarding installed base/sites from ABB Technical Account Managers.Analyzing customer needs and market offerings to identify digital solutions that minimize costs and maximize revenues.Performing lost proposal analysis, identifying causes, and recommending future actions in collaboration with Sales and Business Units.Qualifications for the roleStrong knowledge of process control systems and automation (PLC, DCS, ESD) in power, water, oil refining industries.At least 2 years of experience as a proposal or support sales engineer, preparing technical specifications and pricing.Enhanced understanding of Cyber Security Standards (e.g., IEC 62443) and electrical standards relevant to major customers.Passionate about data analysis and digital solutions to meet customer needs efficiently.Knowledge of ABB digital portfolio (Cyber Security, Asset Performance Management, Sustainability Solutions, etc.) is a plus.Proficiency in English and Italian; knowledge of additional languages (French, Spanish, German) is advantageous.What's in it for you?Supportive, solution-oriented team environment.Opportunity to work with a market leader and high-quality products.Exposure to cutting-edge process automation technology with a visible impact on future developments.BenefitsLife insuranceCanteenEmployee Assistance ProgramFlexible work practicesMore about usABB Energy Industries enables safe, smart, and sustainable projects across sectors like oil, gas, chemicals, power, and water.
