We are seeking a thermo-hydraulic maintenance technician to join our Firenze office, within the Global Business Unit PA & BtoT .
ENGIE’s PA & BtoT division, divided into 3 geographical areas (North, Center, South), handles the sale and management of hard facility services, energy services, and public lighting for local and national public sector clients.
Currently, with a widespread coverage across Italy, it manages approximately 650,000 lighting points, 80 hospitals, over 2,000 schools, 30 universities, and 350 municipalities.
What will you do?
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will perform routine and extraordinary thermo-hydraulic maintenance activities, ensuring the proper functioning and optimization of systems from technical, economic, and energetic perspectives.
What will be your responsibilities?
* Read and apply technical documentation
* Plan phases, means, and methods of work
* Fabricate parts and connections of pipes, and install water, heating, and drainage systems
* Install and dismantle measurement, control, regulation, and safety devices
* Install and maintain gas-powered systems and related piping
* Install and maintain devices, appliances, and systems
* Install and maintain water supply and flushing systems
* Install and maintain liquid and gaseous fuel systems
* Adjust, install, and maintain installed systems
* Verify work through measurements and tests
* Maintain and inspect equipment, machinery, and tools, and perform simple repairs
* Record technical data related to the work process and results
What will you bring to ENGIE?
* Certification for operating thermal systems
* F-GAS certification
* Certification for operating steam generators (preferable)
* Previous experience in industrial thermo-hydraulic systems
* Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting
* Ability to work independently
