Mission We are looking for a Laboratory Specialist for our Agricultural & Environmental Solutions Laboratory in Bresso (MI), Italy. The Laboratory Specialist assists the Laboratory Manager in developing new projects to promote Azelis products and incorporate them into customers' finished product formulations in the agrochemical market.
Main Accountabilities Support and partially drive development and testing of new formulations, applications, and chemistries.
Support and develop new product concepts to enter new customer/market segments.
Support the sampling process for customers, seminars, and exhibitions.
Support the sales team by making joint customer visits.
Support customers on production trials if necessary.
Drive innovation through the Market segment's lateral value chain.
Support the digital team in creating the digital content for the customer portal.
Work in close collaboration with the sales team to support project development and troubleshooting.
Ensure tracking and reporting on innovation and pipeline development.
Drive and support responsibility for the lab (safety, maintenance and quality standards).
Translate the Group's Sustainability Strategy into concrete job‐related action items and contribute actively and timely to the implementation of the sustainability KPIs.
Experience, Skills & Education Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a relevant field.
Intermediate level of English speaking and writing.
Minimum 3 years of experience in R&D in the Agro market segment.
Strong analytical approach, work towards high‐quality standards, and attention to detail.
Self‐motivated and dynamic mindset.
Great affinity with customers and market dynamics.
Strong IT skills and interest in using digital tools.
Loves to work in a dynamic and commercially driven team.
