Senior IT Project Manager – Healthcare Transformation (Milan / Libya)
We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead a long-term international healthcare transformation programme. The role is based in Milan (3–4 days onsite) with regular travel to Benghazi (1–2 weeks per month) to coordinate on-the-ground delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Lead a large-scale international healthcare digital transformation programme
Act as the operational bridge between Italy and Libya , ensuring delivery continuity
Manage end-to-end project delivery (scope, timeline, budget, quality)
Define governance, roadmaps, milestones, and resource planning
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (IT, vendors, system integrators, stakeholders)
Oversee implementation across enterprise apps, infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, and healthcare systems
Manage senior stakeholder communication (clinical, IT leadership, executives)
Drive risk management, issue resolution, and multi-vendor coordination
Support change management, training, and user adoption
Key Requirements
Extensive experience delivering complex, international IT programmes
Strong background in Healthcare IT or enterprise transformation
Proven expertise in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
Experience with ERP programmes (SAP or similar) across finance, supply chain, HR
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure (datacentres, networks, cybersecurity, DR/BC)
Strong vendor and stakeholder management experience
Availability for frequent international travel (Italy Libya)
Nice to Have
Experience with healthcare systems (HIS, EMR/EHR, RIS, PACS, LIS)
Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, DICOM interoperability
Certifications (PMP, Prince2, Agile, Scrum)
Experience in emerging markets / international programmes
Arabic language skills
