RINA is currently recruiting for a System Engineer to join its office in Torino within the Italy Aerospace & Defense Project Management Division.MissionYou will join high‐technology aerospace projects, contributing to the development of complex and innovative systems. Working closely with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams, you will translate customer requirements into reliable, safe, and high‐performance technical solutions, supporting the system throughout its entire lifecycle, from design to final testing.Key Accountabilities Analyzing customer requirements and supporting their translation into technical solutionsContributing to system design and interface definition (HW/SW)Supporting the analysis of wiring and electrical diagramsAssisting in ICD (Interface Control Document) feasibility and functional analysisCollaborating with the software team and following back‐end software developmentDesigning and updating HMI (Human Machine Interface) mockupsPreparing and executing functional and integration testsIdentifying issues and supporting problem reporting and resolution activitiesKeeping track of requirements and HMI updatesCreating and maintaining technical documentation, including manuals and training materialWorking with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, developing strong communication skills EducationBachelor's Degree in Engineering General.QualificationsStrong competencies in: Systems Engineering fundamentals: requirements, design, testing, validationAerospace and Mission SystemsCommunication protocols such as RS232, RS422, RS485, MIL‐STD‐1553, ARINC 429, EthernetReading and understanding electrical schematics and HW/SW documentationPerforming tests using laboratory equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer)Basic programming and scripting in C, Python, and LUA Key professional skills Logical thinking and problem‐solving attitudeAttention to detail and structured work approachClear and effective technical communicationTeamwork in a multidisciplinary and international environmentProactivity, curiosity, and willingness to take responsibility Competencies WORKPLACE DYNAMICS - Resourcefulness in shaping progress and working efficiently.PERSONAL EMPOWERMENT - Ownership for life, work and results, striving to grow professionally and personally.INTERPERSONAL INFLUENCE - Skills and strategies we use to interact effectively with others.DOMAIN & BUSINESS ACUMEN - Applying a scientific approach and critical thinking in operations and solution development within area of expertise.FORESIGHT & INSIGHT - Context awareness adopting a systemic perspective and informed decision making.
