Accountabilities Requirement analysis\nResponsible for ensuring successful on time, on budget delivery of an engineering and software solution\nResponsible for leading work packet Project Monitoring and Control activities including maintaining schedule, CTC, MPR updates, meeting minutes, risk register, and change orders\nPrioritization and monitoring of software problem report status, and execution of tasks within functional areas that includes engineering and software development activities\nFacilitates scope / requirement discussions with technical teams and customer\nActive participation in optimal overall project technical solution\nSupport to HW & SW design e commissioning\nSupport for test on site with customer Required Skills & Experience Very good English written and spoken;\nMinimum 5 years’ experience as project engineer or lead systems / software engineer for large software control system applications\nExperience with basic Project Management :\nMaintaining and controlling budget\nSchedule monitoring / development,\nMaintaining risk register,\nResource and task management\nGood understanding and / or prior experience with software development lifecycles, delivery, and HW / SW integration lifecycle\nPrior experience with Microsoft Office suite, scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera), requirements management systems, and software configuration tools\nPrior experience managing small-medium sized projects and project teams\nDemonstrated ability to lead, engage, and manage tasking of cross‑functional teams of varying skills / experience\nSuccess with multi‑tasking across multiple projects at given time\nBuilds effective relationships and has exceptional communication and leadership skills\nDetail oriented with excellent organizational skills\nExperience in manage project in international context Desired Skills & Experience Some knowledge on Data Base, SW e programming languages\nPrefer rail or rail transit domain experience, but not required\nFamiliar with Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) products, technology, and project deliverables\nPrefer prior experience supporting Bids and Proposals for new work\nExperience with overall systems architecture design\nExperience with robust, mission critical control systems\nExperience with providing leadership in either a functional management or project management role\nMore then 5 years of experience are a plus At Hitachi Rail, there is a place for everyone.
