This role is critical in not only addressing financial deliverables (Weekly Business Review, Monthly Financial Reviews, Operating Plans, pricing/discounts, etc.) but also driving the business to find efficiencies to grow profit. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively, manage multiple and time‐sensitive deliverables across a highly matrixed organization, along with managing risks and opportunities. The individual will also possess strong business partnership skills and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.Day in the LifeServe as the key business partner working directly with AWS senior management and other internal stakeholders to provide financial recommendations. Build financial models for new business concepts, make analytical judgments, and deliver data‐intensive analyses to drive meaningful change. Present financial summary and business insights to the business and finance leadership. Develop and standardize financial reporting packages. Drive continuous improvements in profitability, free cash flow, and operational efficiency.About the TeamThis role will work closely with finance management as well as key business partners across the AWS organization, including Product Managers, Engineers and GMs, to drive thoughtful analysis and controllership. This role requires a self‐starter and independent individual with strong financial modeling abilities, problem‐solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast‐paced environment with ambiguous situations.Basic Qualifications
5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experienceBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re‐engineering, quality assurance) experience
