Experteer OverviewIn this role you will test electromechanical systems, verify conformity with international safety and performance standards, and manage product certification across a range of industrial solutions. You will support the development and deployment of electrification and automation systems for ports, airports, heavy industry, and transportation. You'll work with cross‐functional teams to ensure robust test coverage and reliable certification outcomes, contributing to safe and sustainable operations. This role offers visibility into regulatory processes and hands‐on testing at internal and external facilities.Retribuzione / BenefitsPerform equipment testing and report results per test planDefine test equipment, procedures and conditions for reliable testingExecute long‐term test plans to assess product performanceCoordinate with electrical, mechanical, and software teams for integrationProduce technical project and test documentationProgram and configure Variable Frequency DrivesCreate instrumentation diagrams with developers, mechanics and suppliersDesign, develop and execute test plans for internal and external facilitiesCollaborate with development and product teams to ensure coverageAnalyze test results, identify deviations, and support design for performance optimizationContribute to product qualification, validation and certification activities (Class approvals)Support design reviews, FMEA, and root cause analysis of non‐conformitiesPlan and execute functional, mechanical, electrical, and environmental tests on products (e.g., motorized reels, power units, charging interfaces, distribution panels)Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (IEC, ISO, UL, CE, EMC, LVD, Machinery Directive)Manage certification processes with third‐party labs and notified bodies, maintaining technical documentationDefine and implement test protocols for type testing, design validation, and regression testing (manual and automated)ResponsabilitàProven experience with product testing in electromechanical, electrical or industrial systemsAbility to select sensors and actuators based on project requirementsExperience programming motor drives (ABB, Siemens, Vacon‐Danfoss, Yaskawa)Ability to read electrical diagrams; hydraulics diagrams a plusTroubleshooting and debugging sensors, actuators, and motor drivesHands‐on experience with low voltage switchgear and control panelsUnderstanding of safety standards and risk analysis methods (FMEA, SIL, PL)Familiarity with quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and CE/UKCA marking processesKnowledge of LV control panel schematics; LV/MV switchgear is a plusGood English and Italian language skillsCandidates not meeting requirements will not be considered
