We are currently seeking a Nondestructive Testing Engineer to serve as a technical resource within Amazon data centers. /ppThe ideal candidate will possess the ability to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges. This role requires both independent contribution as well as the ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams. The scope of projects will include but is not limited to the improvement of electrical, mechanical, fire detection, and building automation systems. These will involve large amounts of independent work as well as collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. In the Nondestructive Testing Engineer role, you are expected to delight the customer by building trust and delivering on key milestones. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion. /ph3Key job responsibilities /h3ulliSafety Ambassador responsible for driving a culture of safety and promoting a safe working environment for all. /liliRemain cognizant of, and act in compliance with, all security protocols while motivating others to do the same. /liliUtilize internal CMMS to schedule and oversee the day-to-day execution of Nondestructive Testing preventative maintenance across all regional data centers. /liliAct as an escalation point for all safety, security and facilities-related issues as it relates to your assigned work, escalating to your manager as required. /liliDeploy and support all existing and new standard practices for Nondestructive Testing. /liliCommunicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience. /liliInteract with engineers, technicians, project managers and management daily. /liliWork with engineers to develop detailed and creative solutions to complex problems, while keeping a watchful eye on timelines and costs. /liliOversee projects and provide solutions for root causes of facility issues. /liliProvide support for LSE, weather events, planned, and unplanned outages. /liliProvide cross functional support for ATS and Battery teams. /liliOther duties as assigned. /li /ulh3About the team /h3pDiverse Experiences AWS values diverse experiences.
