Your Impact
The EMEA Smart Order Routing team within Algo R&D Strats is focused on designing and implementing best-in-class liquidity seeking & order execution algorithms for equity products. Deployed in colocation across EMEA, our smart order routers observe signals from a diverse range of liquidity providers and make microsecond-scale reactions to market events in order to provide our clients superior execution quality. This role is an opportunity to be on the front line of a business that executes billions of dollars every day, using modern software tools and techniques to contribute to a high profile product in a key area for the franchise.
Responsibilities
o Technical design and implementation of order execution algorithms.
o Work closely with clients & coverage teams to provide product direction.
o Maintain a thorough understanding of the equities execution business & EMEA market structure.
o Interact with engineering, compliance and operations teams as required to facilitate implementation of our execution algorithms.
Basic Qualifications
o Significant C++ programming experience.
o Prior experience working on systematic trading systems.
o Strong understanding of EMEA equities market structure & order execution.
o Proven problem solving ability with critical and creative thinking.
Preferred Qualifications
o Working knowledge of the Python & KDB/Q programming languages.
o Prior experience interacting directly with clients in both written and verbal mediums.
o Prior experience working on electronic trading components such as exchange connectivity, market data and order management systems.
