As part of the Engineering Directorate – CaDM & Program Security Department, we are looking for a Senior Configuration Engineer. Responsibilities include: Acting as a focal point in Configuration and Data Management within the Launchers Exploitation family to support CM processes and tools, promoting standardization. Contributing to the project CADM plans and monitoring CM performance with Product Assurance Managers. Managing configuration evolution, baseline verification, and as-built control. Organizing Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) for disposition of change requests/proposals and RFW/RFD. Notifying CCB members and experts for evaluation and managing the process to completion. Communicating CCB outcomes to involved parties, including the Application Directive (DA). Uploading change requests/proposals into the Change Manager System and managing their status. Evaluating Supplier Product Configuration Waivers and supporting PA Managers. Controlling and managing the evolution of Project Baseline Requirements and ensuring traceability. Setting up and coordinating Project Reviews and managing the RID/eRID System. Supporting the implementation of configuration control procedures consistent with standards. Providing status data and maintaining a structured configuration record system. Assisting in the preparation of project audits. The candidate should have: A Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent. More than 4 years of experience in configuration and documentation management within an engineering environment. Strong communication skills, initiative, autonomy, and professionalism for complex tasks and responsibilities. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Dassault ENOVIA, IBM DOORS and NEXT, Eclipse/POLARIS, DS MBSE. Knowledge of ESA Configuration and Documentation Management standards (ECSS). Fluency in English; French is an advantage. Knowledge of European Launch System (LS-SM) standards and ESA space projects experience are advantages.
