About this role


As the Manager Sales Operations & Planning for Italy, you will be the strategic partner to the Italian sales leadership, dedicated to empowering the local team and enhancing its performance. This crucial role focuses on driving operational efficiency, strategic planning, and overall excellence, serving as the bridge between the central sales organization and the local Italian team to deliver and care for our sales objectives. You will lead the effort to maximize performance and productivity by providing effective processes, actionable data, and powerful tools.

Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our Milan office & 2 days working from home

Reporting to: Country Sales Lead, Italy


These are some of the key components to the position:

* Design, implement, and refine core sales processes (e.g., lead flow and territory management) to aim high and drive excellence.
* Continuously monitor individual and team performance against key efficiency metrics, identifying gaps and creating clear improvement plans.
* Analyze sales data to provide actionable insights to local leadership and set ambitious, objective KPIs and targets.
* Manage the operational aspects of sales incentive and compensation plans, ensuring clarity and correct implementation.
* Own and ensure the adoption and effectiveness of the sales tech stack (CRM, P&T developments, etc.) within the Italian sales team.
* Act as the local point of contact for centrally-led strategic projects, managing implementation and ensuring alignment with local market needs.


What will you bring to the team?

* Proven ability to drive business results in an analytical, sales operations, or strategic consulting role.
* Solution-oriented and challenger mindset, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and close supply gaps.
* Strong analytical capability and advanced proficiency in sales data analysis (including MS Excel for complex analysis).
* Expertise in managing and optimizing CRM tools and sales technology to support internal and external partners.
* Exceptional organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple complex projects and meeting tight deadlines.
* Strong commercial acumen and deep understanding of sales organization dynamics.
* Fluent in English and Italian.
