JOB PURPOSE / ROLE
The successful candidate will join the Distribution Incentives & Discounts Unit, conducting in-depth analysis of agency channel performance, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting the development and implementation of strategic initiatives. The role involves analyzing agency performance, creating predictive models, managing budget allocation, and overseeing incentives and contests released to agencies. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the insurance industry or financial services with exceptional analytical skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform data analysis to support decision-making processes, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
* Monitor and report on the implementation and impact of strategic initiatives on business performance
* Support senior leadership in preparing presentations and reports for executive meetings and board discussions
* Provide ad-hoc analysis and support for special projects as needed
KEY REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
1. Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
2. At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the insurance industry
3. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
4. Proficiency in Power BI, including Data Modeling, DAX, and Power Query
5. Basic knowledge of Python or SQL is a plus
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
7. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
9. Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment
10. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
11. Fluent in Italian and English
