As Intern – Production Controller you will interface between the shop and fulfillment team and your main role will be monitoring and supporting production line.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
* Learn how to monitor shop production in order to assure delivery plan
* Verify supplier commit and expedite delays to ensure production scheduling
* Support shop activities
* Support shop and Materials Planning team to improve production lead time, turns and inventory
* Provide support in communication among different functions
* Monitor operational alignment with production plan and KPIs
Qualifications/Requirements
* Master's Degree in Engineering field, preferably in Mechanical Engineering of Management Engineering
* Knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel
* Analytical, organizational and planning skills
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Knowledge of technical drawing
* Curious and eager to learn
* Capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently
* Fluent Italian and English
* Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
Desired Characteristics
* Ability to make decisions quickly
* Ability to guide and influence others
* Prior experience in Material Planning
* Knowledge of SAP
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes
