OPEX Leader – Drive Operational Excellence in a Global Medical DevicesGroup Introduction: Are you a seasoned Operational Excellence(OPEX) professional with a solid background in Lean Six Sigma and apassion for innovation and continuous improvement? Our client, aleading multinational in the Medical Devices sector, is seeking anOPEX Leader to define strategies, implement world-class standards, andlead cross-functional initiatives in a dynamic multi-siteenvironment. The Role: As the OPEX Leader, you will be a keymember of the Divisional OPEX Management Team, working closely withthe Divisional OPEX Manager to shape the continuous improvementroadmap and translate it into concrete actions. In particular, youwill: Define OPEX Standards: Develop and detail“ready-to-use” methodologies, tools, and templates to support leantransformation. Coordinate Global Roll-Out: Ensure effectiveimplementation of OPEX Standards across all manufacturing sites withinthe Center of Excellence. Training & CompetenceBuilding: Design and deliver workshops and training sessionson Lean/OPEX, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies,engaging teams at every level. Assessment & ContinuousImprovement: Establish a clear assessment framework(including Quality Gates) to audit and enhance the adoption of OPEXStandards within plants. Leadership & Mentorship: Providefunctional leadership to Plant OPEX Managers, offering guidance andprofessional development support. ExecutiveCoaching: Collaborate with Management Team to foster aleadership culture rooted in excellence. StrategicPlanning: Oversee the Strategy Deployment/Target Settingprocess within the international Competence Center, ensuring alignmentwith organizational goals. Performance Monitoring: SuperviseSQDC( Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost ) performance tracking, with astrong focus on identifying and driving improvement initiatives.Continuous Improvement Projects: Lead cross-plant initiativesto boost operational efficiency, cut waste, and optimize processes.Proactive Process Analysis: Conduct periodic assessments ofoperational workflows to identify gaps and propose high-impactsolutions. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering,Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).Proven experience in Continuous Improvement/OPEX roles, ideally inmulti-plant environments. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or equivalentcertification) with deep knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, and data analysistools. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with atrack record of managing complex projects from start to finish.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder managementskills. Willingness to travel (25-50% of the time, with potentiallyhigher initial peaks) and adapt to a dynamic globalenvironment.
