TRAVEL DESIGN & BOOKINGS ASSISTANT
APPRENDISTATO CONTRACT
Our ideal candidate is a person who has completed a Travel Design & Bookings & Oerations course or has already had a similar experience working with a tour opperator/travel agency or DMC. You will primarily be working on Italy-based customised itineraries for private clients however you will also be working on the UK & Ireland, Spain & Portugal, France & Greece at various stages.
This position is fully remote & you will be working from home.
This role will see you work in Travel Design and Bookings & Operations.
As a Travel Designer you will be responsible for designing accurate, curated itineraries for clients and be actively involved in the sales process including communicating with the client via email and telephone. As Bookings & Operations assistant, you will then be responsible for all aspects of bookings as well as maintaining the client relationship from the time their booking is confirmed through when they depart. As a Travel Designer you are responsible for the creation of accurate, thoughtful itineraries, cultivating client relationships and achieving your sales targets.
As a Bookings & Operations assistant you will manage client relationships from booking to departure. Booking any type of service (transfers, tickets, hotels, activities, guides etc) and reconfirming with suppliers and hotels prior to tour commencement
Follow up supplier invoices & liaise with the accounts department.
You love the sales process and excel in understanding client needs and closing the business.
You have a C1 level of written & spoken English
You have a C1/2 level of written & spoken Italian
You thrive in a remote, work-from-home environment (our team all work remotely)
You are a rapid learner of new technologies and systems (we use the Google Workspace package including Google Sheets, Trello & an online itinerary creation system).

Contract: apprendistato professionalizzante CCNL Turismo (to be eligible for this type of contract you need to be under 30 years of age according to Italian employment law) or 30 and over and currently receiving NASPI unemployment benefits.
