Find your future with us. /p pWe are seeking an bexperienced Environment, Health Safety (EHS) Specialist /b to provide practical, site-level EHS support across our Southern and Western Europe operations. You will partner with local leadership and regional EHS colleagues to strengthen compliance, reduce risk, and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance across production, maintenance and engineering environments. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liConduct workplace hazard assessments and verify effective risk controls are implemented and maintained. /li liReview and interpret local and regional EHS regulations; advise local leadership on compliance obligations and regulatory changes. /li liServe as the primary local contact for contracted EHS services, ensuring services are delivered on schedule and meet Boeing standards. /li liReview and update local EHS policies, procedures and permits to align with Boeing requirements, ISO standards and applicable legislation. /li liProvide EHS input for new business opportunities, capital projects, facility changes and contractor scopes to ensure regulatory compliance and safe design. /li liSupport deployment, auditing and continuous improvement of the regional EHS management system (including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 expectations). /li liAct as regional contact for EHS incidents: coordinate immediate response activities, support investigations, and ensure timely, accurate incident reporting. /li liTrack and facilitate closure of corrective actions to prevent recurrence and to demonstrate continuous improvement. /li liPrepare and submit compliance and technical reports required by regulators and Boeing regional management. /li liCollaborate with EHS colleagues across the region to harmonize expectations, share best practices and standardize tools and processes. /li liSupport product and environmental compliance efforts (waste, emissions, chemical inventory and controls). /li liDevelop and deliver EHS training to meet regulatory and operational needs; verify training completion and effectiveness at assigned sites. /li liConduct regular site visits across the region to validate implementation of EHS programs, engage with site teams and support local continuous improvement. /li /ul h3Basic Required Qualifications /h3 ul liA degree or diploma in a health and safety-related subject or an engineering degree with modules in Environment, Health and Safety legislation /li liASPP/RSPP qualification /li liUnderstanding of Italian Health and Safety legislation /li liAdvanced proficiency in Italian and English (written and spoken) /li liMinimum 5 years’ professional EHS experience in engineering, production, or maintenance environments. /li liPractical knowledge and experience with: /li liItalian Legislative Decree 81/08 (and other local requirements across supported countries) /li liISO 4501 and ISO 14001 management system principles and implementation /li liIncident investigation, root cause analysis and corrective action management /li liRisk assessment methodologies and control measures /li liProficient in preparing regulatory reports and maintaining compliance records. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications: (nice to have) /h3 ul liNEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) /li liUnderstanding of European Health and Safety legislations /li liProficiency in Spanish and/or French /li /ul h3Travel /h3 pMust be willing and able to travel frequently throughout Italy and to other EU sites (France, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands). /p h3Competencies Personal Attributes /h3 ul liStrong interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all organizational levels. /li liPractical, solutions‑oriented mindset and high attention to detail. /li liAbility to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and elevate appropriately. /li liComfortable working in cross‑cultural, multi‑site environments and collaborating with external contractors and regulators. /li /ul pEmployer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. /p pRelocation: This position does not offer relocation.
