As a Supplier Development Engineer, you will have the chance to get a deep insight into the function of Product Design of an international Headquarters and to work within a dynamic and innovative context inspired by the principles of Lean Thinking, characterized by teamwork and a streamlined decision-making process. /p pThe Supplier Development Engineer will report directly to the Project Leader within his/her “Obeya” and will have functional relations with quality and purchasing functions. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liTeam member in the product development process from the early-stage design activities to the mass production /li liDirect participation in the technical discussion with supplier in order to guarantee process feasibility assessments. /li liVerification of production process /li liValidate the conformity of the purchased material using measuring instruments (as CMM). /li liDefinition of the control plans for incoming material and components /li liAuditing activity with the suppliers and their process /li liPromoting continuous improvements of the suppliers in terms of quality and process by evaluating corrective actions /li /ul h3What you need to be successful /h3 ul liTechnical degree background /li li2-3 years of experience in quality or engineering or production (main commodities: die-casting, plastic molding, mechanical processing, sheet metal processing) /li liGood knowledge of mechanical drawings /li liGood knowledge of English language /li liAttitude to work into multi-disciplinary teams (Obeya room) /li liExcellent problem-solving skills /li liAvailability for business trip /li /ul pbTime to unlock new opportunities?
